Thank you for visiting my website. Choosing a yoga therapist is a very personal choice, and you should seek someone with whom you are comfortable and who has the means to help you meet your goals.
Marie Pampanin M.A., M.S., C-IAYT
Marie Pampanins' lifelong passion for yoga and psychology has developed into a healing career that addresses mind and body awareness. While earning her M.A. to become a marriage and family therapist at Sonoma State University, Marie began teaching yoga. She became increasingly aware of the connection between the mind and body. This realization sparked an interest in her to delve deeper into the areas of study that looked at the whole person rather than parts. She pursued further education in Yoga and Ayurvedic philosophy, Reiki, and Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.). Each modality has inspired her to dig deeper into the science and philosophy of yoga and its effect on trauma. She completed another 140-hour training in Trauma-Informed Yoga, became certified in Somatic Yoga, and became a Trauma Sensitive Heart Math practitioner. Her passion for working with people from a holistic modality brought her to the Maryland University of Integrative Health, where she earned her M.S. in Clinical Yoga Therapy and became a certified yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy. Marie offers 1:1, small group sessions, and yoga therapy workshops; she also teaches trauma-informed yoga classes. Marie sits on the board of a non-profit company, Empowered Wellness, that helps to provide treatment for trauma survivors. She is also the host of Yoga Therapy, The Alchemy of Healing.
